After having dinner at Indian Kitchen (my fav northern indian place), I was hankering for something hot and sweet. As we walked back to our car parked in Bangsar Village, I came across this new place and this sign greeted me as I was approaching it.
Desserts!! And at the bottom “ All desserts for RM7++”. Needless to say, I decided to sit. The place had a rustic kind of feel to it. Brick walls and along the walls were shelves filled with loaves of bread on one side and tons of ingredients on the other. Not too sure if you could buy those ingredients, I neglected to ask.
The owner of the place (sorry I can’t recall his name) was friendly and dropped by our table to introduce himself. He mentioned that he and his partner were formerly from Telawi Street Bistro (god I miss those long lunches at TSB with a wood fire baked pizza and a pint of Hoegaarden) who decided to set up shop here, just mere lots away. Nice guy.
We took a look at the menu and it seemed to have an interesting selection of western dishes and pizza. The main dishes range from under RM20 (sandwiches and pies) to RM30 (lamb stew, beef ribs) to RM70 (Rump Steak 300gm). Pretty reasonable if you ask me. However, as we were too full, we settled for a Chocolate Mousse to share. I ordered some hot tea as well.
The chocolate mousse was simple, with some (unsweeted) cream on top. The mousse was not overly thick like a pudding but not runny. I thought it was nice and chocolaty without being too sweet.
Am planning to come again for the main dishes, anyone game to join me?

Cova Square is this small area behind Segi College Kota Damansara where there are offices/apartments on top and 3-4 rows of shop at the bottom. There’s also a nursing college there as well, I think, because you will see some students in ‘missy’ uniforms.
Burger Royale is located somewhere towards the end of the row of shoplots. Its a air cond shop with probably 2-3 small tables outside. U walk in and on the left you have the kitchen/ordering table. The prices are all located in the menu overhead.
After two attempts to eat at places which didn’t have what I wanted to eat – IKEA ran out of chicken wings and Absolute Thai didn’t have the steam siakap or beef – we finally settle at Tony Roma’s.
Actually they didn’t have the Baked Potato Soup – yea i know, it was really not my day – so we had two different appetizers and one ribs to share.
This is the Asian Bites. I think we salah order because we wanted Buffalo Bites but didn’t realize it till we were halfway through. Its boneless chicken pieces in a batter, fried then thai sweet chilli sauce poured on top. Quite nice but I think i prefer buffalo wings
= RM 17.90
Located in Millennium Square PJ, Piccadilly’s is a great shop to hangout. The food is nice and the price is ok. They have like more than 200 foods and drinks listed on the menu ranging from Westerns, Italians, Indians, Chinese and of course Local delights. We have been going to Piccadilly’s for quite number of times already, but only recently took pictures of the food we ordered.

Tandoori Chicken (RM5.00) – quarter of chicken marinated in red colored spices. Nice but nothing special about it. Served with mint sauce and some veggies.

Spicy Fried Calamari (RM9.00) – deep fried calamari served with Thais chili sauce, my girl said not as nice as the prawn fritter. As for me it doesn’t deserves a “spicy” title if it only meant to be dipped in the chili sauce. Read the rest of this entry »

So after having a problem on where to eat, we decide to go to Italiannies at The Gardens. As its name, it is an Italian theme restaurant that serve Italian food (duh >.<). They have an “open air” style seating outside the restaurant and plenty of seats inside.
The restaurant setting is (as quoted from my girl) nice, romantic and high class. Oh and quiet too, nice place to have a romantic dinner but be sure to ask table further away from their kitchen.
Anyway after we seated, complimentary bread with olive oil plus balsamic vinegar was served. The bread was nice, seems that they baked it fresh daily. Was asking my girl whether do we have pay for it or not if we decide not to eat there XD Read the rest of this entry »
I’ve been wanting to drop by at this sandwich bar ever since I had their awesome beef sandwich in their KLIA outlet last year. G and I were in Ikano to go to the Pos Office to send some packages (that didn’t get sent because the P.O. closed at 5pm instead of 6pm for ramadhan).
They are currently having this promotion on some sandwiches. Its now only RM11.90 for a Sandwich + Norwegian Coffee or Hot Tea – either Earl Grey, Jasmine Green Tea, English Breakfast Tea, Pure peppermint Tea, Pure Camomile Tea or Darjeeling Tea.
There are four sandwiches you can choose from:
> Dancing Chicken with Mushroom – Healthy brown bread, mushroom, smoked chicken breast, mayo relish, salad, tomatoes, cucumbers and alfalfas
> Herby Rosemary Roasted Chicken – Healthy brown bread, rosemary chicken, oregano butter, lollo bionda, mix salad, sliced cheese, cucumbers & tomatoes
> Swimiming salmon - Healthy brown bread, salmon, cream cheese, lettuces, asparagus, red onions, cucumbers & alfalfas
> BBQ Bugwich – Healthy brown bread, chicken burger, BBQ mayo, lollo bionda, mix salad, tomatoes, onions and ketchup sauce
Plus, you can add RM 3 for Fresh Juice or a Pastry
I had the Herby Rosemary Roasted Chicken. Its a nice blend of chicken and rosemary. G didn’t really like the rosemary taste because its too strong for her so she got the Dancing Chicken with Mushroom. Equally nice.
And for only RM11.90, its such a steal! They also have a Ramadhan Delight Sandwich (RM11 + Hot Tea) with Mayo, lollo bionda, mix salads, roast beef, tomato, onions, blackpepper sauce & alfalfa.
